Nuclear Punishment is Rommel & Paolo on guitars, Timothy John on drums, Mike on Bass and Marconi on vocals. They all Come from different bands. Rommel is from H.O.H., Pao is from feud, John is also from feud and has tons of other bands, mike from A.O.D. and me from Y.F.C.& Verum X. 3 of the Guys Play in a Positive StraightEdge Hardcore Band Half the Battle. It all started when we, John, Mike, Paolo & Marconi used to jam to Heavy metal songs back then when we were all in high school. But it was last September 2003 we officially started Nuclear Punishment, it was then Called Nuclear Termuloid (but due to some Shit, some people never really got our name Right on gigs,How frustrating?) it all happened really-really fast. Mikes younger sister, Cookie of "15 minutes of shame" lined us up for a gig at freedumb bar. We havent had songs then, we dont want to play covers (it sucks to play COver songs) so We made 4 songs a day before the gig, it was fucking fast. Rommel was the only guitarist then. Paolo Had other things on hand, but eventually he joined in and made the music more heavy ever since. I could say the line up now is like a Tight Fist ready to Bash your brains out. Every gig back then, the bands name was always pronounced wrong. We got pissed and decided to change it to Brutal Punishment. But we got a hint that the name was already taken by some other band, crap! So we decided to change it again, brainstorming with some veggie spagz we decided to combine the name Nuclear Termuloid and Brutal Punishmnet then we came up with Nuclear Punishment. And so Nuclear Punishment was christened. with our Battling Brothers Bystorm(manila) & Sauna(batangas) we played around with them.. we were formed around the same time late 2003. During our 1st year we got to play in many places, Batangas,Johns Place Marikina, M.A.I.M.s anniversary gig in recto ( that was unforgettable for it was the 1st time I played in recto, lotsa scenesters)
And yes, weve been around our hometown Cavite, in Dasmarinas, Binakayan.. We played at Roel Mores' "Rural Carnage" Metal Fest. We all love playing live. So we tend to come to gigs and events whenever were lined up. We love to play and if we get a chance & the money well do a tour or sort so we can play at different places and scenes up north or Visayas and Mindanao.
We recorded 6 songs last mid 2004. mixed it a bit and we were so happy with it we gave out copies to our Friends and other scenesters both with the HC/punk and Metal scenes. the Record was really not intended to be released.. we gave out only a CD and a Lyric sheet to sing along..it was very raw and some of songs had their 1st versions there. after that we were goin places meeting new people. by march of 2005 we recorded 9 songs at Soundcreation in Quezon City. the recording went well, we were joined by our buddy Easy Morgan from Half the Battle. hell we even let him sing in one song. after the March recording Brian Barientos of Avoid Fate Records asked us if we want him to help with the release our CD. The guys Approved and yes some of us are really not that well off, i my self am poor, hungry & Broken. by Mid 2005 we were around a lot. i mean a lot! we went to Olongapo twice with our friends there from "Dissimulate" and "Down From the Wound". we also went o Bulacan with our "Take4Collective" Friends. San Pablo Laguna with Half the Battle. And cavite with our Compatriots YFC, Drop and other Punk ass bands. we were almost lined up every other week. but it was good cause we play with other bands. we even Crashed Mai Uchi bar, we were not lined up for that production( idont remember what prod) but they let Y.F.C. and Nuclear Punishment play. hehehe. by the last Quarter of 2005 we played again at Cavite Hardcore fest 2 with Community Trust from Japan. and yeah i remember we opened for S.O.L. from Germany and Vivisic from Japan when those toured here. and last november we went back to play at Roel Mores' Rural Carnage 2. new songs are in the process and the army is just stong as ever. hope there are alots of gigs and new Friends next year.
Right now we'll tend to hang on to our reputation to be one of the heaviest band to hail from Cavite.
This September 2006, the kids will hit the studios to record some 6 new songs
for our 4 way split with our Take4Collective comrades...Isvarah, Forgiveness

oct 8: we just finished 80% of the Recording with all eccept for the vocal
tracks so i guess we just need more fucking money!!!
December 21th 2006: We have just finished the Recording and all... we just have some Liabilities to pay... still we havnt have enough money! As of now we are Accepting Donations....
well for now... its good to have a quality sounding shit CD!
By mid 2007, Mike left to Dubai to work and practice his architecture degree, he was then replaced by Paolo’s brother Tatoy to play bass.
November 2007:
The 4 Way split CD had its release Party... Great Line up of Bands and yea Brutal nite! Got more shows to play... See you in the pit kids!
After months of waiting, “New Names For Old Desires” the 4 Way split CD was released.
Now with some financial help from Mike, they will be recording 5 new songs at Earbender this December 2007/Jan2008. Undecided of what will be the outcome, the band will/still plays for free at various gigs, may it be Hardcore/Punk or Metal parties as it was from the start.
Feb 2008: just finished recording our new songs at earbender. Again produced by Macoy.. like as always, again accepting donations! feel free to listen to some of the songs on our myspace page.
