   About Nuctemeron
This is the official tribute page to Nuctemeron, which was active from 1992-1995. The page was created, and is currently maintained, by vocalist and co-founder, Richard Medina (currently in Fall of Empyrean and The Liquescent Horror). Anyone in contact with former members of the band, please direct them to this page, as we have lost contact with some of them.

The reason this page was created is due to the continued interest in the band and its music. There has even been recent label interest in re-releasing the band’s debut cd, A Time The World Forgot -- originally released by Wild Rags Records -- and talks continue to make that happen. Unfortunately, information and promo materials were lost throughout the years, so if anyone has any photos, live pics, recordings, or other items involving the band, your contribution would be welcomed.

During its tenure, the band released a demo cassette tape entitled, A Time The World Forgot, then later signed with Wild Rags Records, who released it in CD format with a bonus track ("Explorers Return"), making it the band’s first full-length release. The demo and CD were both met with great reviews and several interviews were done. The album subsequently gained the band a worldwide following. The band also contributed a track for a compilation called Deterioration of the Senses.

Many shows were played during this time, including shows with Morbid Angel, Morgion, Incantation, Kataklysm, Phobia, as well as several others. New songs were written following Nuctemeron’s official releases, but were not recorded due to the band’s eventual demise.

I would like to personally thank everyone who supported Nuctemeron, and to those who continue to ask and email me about the band, your continued support is appreciated … Darkest Hails!!! Richard.
