About me:
Nadine's musical talents were recognized at the early age of five. She began as a lead vocalist in the young adult choir of the Mother Church of God in Christ in Wilmington, Delaware, where she was born and raised. While matriculating through secondary education, Nadine was a lead vocalist in the Delaware State University Choir in Dover, Delaware. As a witness for christ and to share her gift of song, Nadine began singing in street ministries and went on to sing to women and men incarcerated in prisons from Delaware Correctional to Attica Prison in New York. Her melodious phrasing has been heard by audiences throughout the United States, all over Europe and in South America.
In 2001 and 2002, she was on tour in Europe with The Harlem Gospel Singers. Her talents have earned her first place at the New York City acclaimed Sweet Waters Cabaret, 2nd place top-dog winner at the famed Apollo Theatre, and she has appeared at the Latin Casino Night Club. Nadine has been a lead singer with Timothy Wright and the Concert Choir, and Gabriel Hardeman and the Delegation Ensemble. She was also a background vocalist for Miles Jaye. Recently, she performed in the International Norway Jazz Festival.
Nadine's acting credits include the Broadway musical "Don't Get God Started" featuring the Winans and Vanessa Bell-Armstrong. She has also opened for BeBe and CeCe Winans in New York. Recently, she was received with thunderous applause and ovations for her role as "Mary-Alice" in the Philadelphia musical, "Calling Out Your Name" at The Freedom Theatre.
Nadine has been happily married to Frank for 30 years and they have a daughter named Moriah Minyon.
Nadine enjoys being creative in writing music and poetry. She has been inspired by jazz greats, such as Sarah Vaughn and Ella Fitzgerald. This marks her first solo cd, of which she co-produced with Dexter Koonce. All lyrics and music were through the inspiration of God. "It is my desire to reach the lost, to enlighten, and to sing a message of salvation."
