Music, travel and exploration, science & technology and movies.
I don't like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain.
I'm not into yoga, and I have more than half a brain.
I play guitar, left-handed, and I do computer tech support for a living. That's all you're getting out of me at this time. Give it up! :)

Movies
I like most Sci-Fi. Action and Adventure, Comedy. All things Monty Python and related, Jim Carey, Steve Martin, and other offbeat humor. Anything with Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery, Mel Gibson and Bruce Willis. Anything from Pixar. I enjoy the great acting and quirky characters created by Dustin Hoffman, Nicolas Cage, Jeff Goldblum and Johnny Depp. Then, there is Haley Joel Osment (AI/The Sixth Sense) Where did he go anyway? Jodi Foster (First Contact). She's always believable, strong and intelligent. Russel Crowe (Gladiator). God, I love that movie! Reminds me a lot of Kirk Douglas and Spartacus, another great spectacle of a movie in its day.
Television
Star Trek, Deep Space 9 is my all time favorite with Enterprise coming on strong, but I would have a hard time turning off any of them. The Twilight Zone, Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Dr. Who, Smallville, Supernatural, The O.C., Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, CSI, Boston Legal(Denny Crane!). The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, A&E.
Anyone for space marionettes?
Before Star Wars!
Before Star Trek!
Before color!
There was...
Fireball XL5!
Books
Don't read too many books for fun anymore. Too much available on the web. The last book I read was, "Cisco CCNA Certification Self-Study Library". Now, there's a really mind numbing read! Better than counting sheep to get to sleep. I read more books for fun as a child. I liked to read Sci-Fi like, "When Worlds Collide", "The Martian Chronicles", "War of the Worlds", stuff like that.
Check out my new favorite author, Kevin J. Anderson, and his upcoming book and companion music CD from "The Roswell Six" at the site below!
About me: I'm just a guy. No one really very important in the greater scheme of things. Happy to spend my life out of the spotlight. I'm a conventional guy, in an unconventional sort of way. I'm just as serious as I am nuts, which makes me seriously nuts, but in a wholesomely screwy sort of way. Almost beyond the fringe, but not quite. Very straightlaced, but not quite. Okay! I'm a little weird! Are you happy? Democrats think I'm a Republican. Republicans think I'm a Democrat. I am a bridge, juxtaposed between two extremes, trying not to get burned in the hail of artillery. Can't we all just get along? Oh! You extremists! So hard to get along with! So instead of taking sides, I just love all of you in spite of yourselves.
I endeavor to keep this a tight knit little list of friends here. I will not let just anybody on my friends list. So, it means something when you're on here. What that something is, I'm not quite sure, but it means something. Sometimes I let you on here against my better judgment, because I've known you in person for a while. Meanwhile, I try to not be too embarrassed by your antics. So, to all who are offended by any of my friends, I apologize for their behavior in advance. We're like a big family with lots of weird uncles and aunts. But, what family isn't? So, be nice to each other when you're here!
Who I'd like to meet:
Lana Lane, Erik Norlander,
the rest of their bandmates, and all of my friends on the Lana Lane Yahoo-Groups site. Also, Andrew Latimer, lead guitar player and guiding spirit of Camel, and the other Camel fans on the Rajaz website, John Payne and friends from the John Payne Yahoo-Groups site.
Check out Lana's and Erik's videos below!
Look for Erik's new CD collaboration with the world famous Sci-Fi Fantasy writer, Kevin J. Anderson, "Terra Incognita - The Edge Of The World"
Lana Lane - Someone To Believe
Lana Lane - Under the Olive Tree
And how about Erik Norlander & Rocket Scientists?
from their latest release "Looking Backward" - Pythagoras(Unbound)
