Hola Salseros. Thanks for your support and enthusiasm. We send you our love and affection for Valentines Day. Don't forget, no classes Valentine's night due to your need to eat chocolate and smell roses. Our Spring schedule is finally ready. We will be teaching classes in the same studio, Future of Tradition, until May 1st. At that time there will be some additional class offerings, changes in schedule and changes in studio space. LA SLOT Style Dance "On 1", Modern Club Style
Danced on 1 (the downbeat of the music), L.A. style is danced linear. It is flashy, using dips, flips and arm styling, with crisp, sharp moves and multiple spins. There are "open breaks" where each dancer can do fast footwork and individual styling. This is the most widely danced style in America, though New York Style Mambo (danced "on 2") is catching up fast!
Mondays - March 5 – April 2
Beginners Level One 7:30 – 8:30 pm
Wednesdays - March 7– April 11
Beginners Level Two 7-8 pm
Intermediate Level One 8-9 pm
Advanced 9-10 pm

NOTE: The remainder of April we will have Social/Drop-in classes for a reduced rate until the next series starts in May. Please pardon the disruption in classes, as the studios are transitioning into new spaces. May/June will be the next series. We will be offering Mambo (NY Style Salsa), Cuban Rueda, and Kids classes on Tuesdays in addition to the classes currently offered.
