Andy's current bands include: The Jazzdudes which he leads and includes his father Mike Kennedy on piano; JDQ, a contemporary/progressive jazz quartet from Hampshire; Lucifer Jazz, a seven piece jazz ensemble from Basingstoke which produces a mixture of modern jazz, blues and soul; Sweet Music, from Newbury, playing soul, funk and R&B; Detroit Soul, prominent soul band playing many top venues across the country, Diggin On This, Newbury based soul, funk, R&B band playing all the top venues in the south; Midnight Sax from Hampshire playing a broad range of soul, jazz, funk, blues and pop; New Antonians Swing Orchestra, a big band based in Andover with a classic and modern big band repertoire.
