Hand percussion, acoustic instruments, and live vocal sounds blend with dancefloor beats to create a compelling improvisational stew. Jeff brings the studio to the stage, inviting you to get your groove on as the layers of sound interweave and the energy builds. Always positive, always uplifting.
Jeff's musical background includes performing with the Ithaca, NY-based Pranadhanas Yoga Dance, playing music for meditation and ritual with Jalaja Bonheim of the Circlework Institute, and creating rave-positive interactive art and sound events. He is a partner in the duo ShaMaSa with the legendary Joe Smellow.

Please listen to some of the music on this MySpace page. Many of these tunes are waiting for vocals to complete them. I hear Indian flavored vocal on SitaRaga and Mumbai Hill. Hip Hop vocals have space to breathe and speak out on some tracks. Electric violin? Sax? You play a bad-ass theremin? Let's talk. So far, I've played and programmed all the instruments and voices on these tunes, produced and engineered them myself. They could benefit from some fresh perspectives.
Right now, you could play some Nu Light tracks on myspace through headphones or your good speaker system (your laptop can't reproduce the bass parts), jam along and find some parts you like. Drop me a line - what do you feel from these tunes? I'm looking for other musicians with experience on the stage, in the studio. Vocalists should have prior experience using a MIC successfully.
