nullwerk is an electronic dark-ambient/experimentalist project of northern california musician ross hoyt. nullwerk has released multiple ep's over the years, spanning everything from minimalist downtempo compositions, to full length albums of forbidding soundscapes. as of 2008, nullwerk has completed a full length collaboration album with sacramento based artist superzapper recharge.
since it's conception in 1999, nullwerk has received college radio play on KDVS in davis, california, college radio in Seattle, Washington, Experimental radio shows in Indiana and New Jersey, and has been distributed through the independent networkings of music fans in the Czech Republic and Lativa, Russia. nullwerk has been repeatedly invited to the Northern California Experimental Music and Noise Festival, performed at various art galleries and clubs over the years, and will generally perform anywhere found sound can be found.
