  • Music

    ..I like music that inspires me. My art is the direct result of being inspired by music and movies, so obviously music is very important to me. Seeing as I like to paint evil stuff, I found my calling in the form of heavy metal a long time ago. I'm not going to bother posting a ton of bands I like, because it seems whenever you do that people like to throw your tastes into sub-genres. That doesn't interest me at all because I like all sub-genres of metal. Everything from the most brutal technical death metal to the cheesiest power metal is all fair game in my book.

  • Movies

    ..I'm a hardcore horror fanatic. I spend a lot of time trying to find new horror to watch. Much like heavy metal, I like all aspects of it...from the highest quality to the lowest. I actually prefer really cheesy horror at times and I actively scour the internet in hopes of finding the worst of the worst. It's just very enjoyable to me to not be a snob in the things I like. I don't require an amazing level of perfection in my movies. If it entertains me, makes me laugh, or frightens me then I like it. Since I am an overly positive person, it's not hard to make me laugh at the very least so I like I lot of bad movies because of that.

  • Television

    .. I really don't watch much TV unless it's already come out on DVD. I prefer to wait for a show to come out entirely and just netflix the entire run.

  • Books

    ..Shamefully, I don't read too much. I just don't have the time with my art, my job, and spending time with my wife. I am making my way (slowly) through the Dark Tower series, though, which is definitely my favorite series of all time, thus far.

  • Heroes

    ..Optimus Prime, Darth Vader, HR Giger, Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, Brom, Lucio Fulci, Jason Voorhees, George Romero, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jeffery Combs, George Lucas, Michael Whelan, Wayne Barlowe, Thanos (someday I am gonna get me one of those infinity gauntlets and if you ever pissed me off, mark my words, you will pay).
