Wireblock, Stuffrecords, and Dress 2 Sweat have combined to become one record label... Numbers.
For those who don't know... Numbers is our party hailing from Glasgow which has been running for over six years. We've packed crowds into sweaty basements and thousand-strong raves in Glasgow and London with our crack team of resident DJs and musical heroes.
Our music policy swaggers from techno to hip-hop, via 80s R&B screamers, house, electro, UK funky, dubstep - really anything that excites us and makes a party, providing it's programmed in the right order. Over the years we've matched acts like Modeselektor, Kode9, Actress, Untold, Joker, Hud Mo and Rustie with founding influences – Dopplereffekt, Smith N Hack, Ghostface Killah, Autechre, Lory D and Squarepusher.
Backing up the music are razor sharp visuals and design from Retina Glitch and Remote Location.
Thanks to you we're now in year six and still putting on the best new producers alongside Numbers favourites, plus releasing records we love.

Jacky doesn't ask for much, he's a giver; but if everyone reading this tells one other person about what we're doing it would be HUGE!
Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcastday, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
Hotbox & Friends continues on into November by welcoming City West Records' newest artist and half of Edinburgh's Off:Beat party team, Ewan Smith, to make the journey west and entertain all you lucky people with his eclectic mix of deep house and rhythmic techno.
We also welcome Uberschnackle resident Dave Scott to perform his firstHotbox set. Dave had the Sparra rockin' at the last Uberschnakel basement party and we can we wait for him to do the same again for the Hotbox crowd.
As always, the Hotbox residents will be at hand throughout the night to fill in all those spaces are friends leave behind and we'll be bringing the Hotbox Sound System back to provide the bottom-end the Sparra's basement has long been waiting for.&l
