Bio:
Nunchuk, is a newly reformed energetic Two piece playing an original style of Alternative-Cowboy-PunkRock. Based out of the Albuquerque, New Mexico area, Nunchuk combines a multitude of musical styles with an unbeatable smashing stage performance.
Since the creation of Nunchuk in the fall of 2004 they have accomplished many positive things towards their music career. Nunchuk has recorded their first Ep titled, Even Lifeguards Drown recorded at The Wall of Sound Studios, Co-Produced by John Wall. Even Lifeguards Drown was released July 5th of 2005 and captured the pure emotion and future potential of the band. Following the release of the Ep, Nunchuk embarked on many tours through out the Southwest. Since then NunchuK also release the Rest Assured Singe in 2006. Followed by more touring.
Nunchuk has opened for National Acts such as Warped Tours Go Betty Go, and April Sixth. Nunchuk has won three New Mexico Music Awards for Best Mainstream Rock, Best Alternative Rock Production and Best Punk Production. They also took 1st place in three New Mexico Battle of the Bands.
As of now Nunchuk is piecing back together. With a new line up and a new musical direction. We are working on getting new material together and are currently booking shows again.
