Nurse & Soldier is a side project of Fat Bobby from Oneida with his wife Rockie. Out of the ashes of Karaoke Hustler, during Oneida's infancy, Nurse & Soldier began in Brooklyn in 1997, reluctantly relocating to Boston in 2004 to be able to rent an apartment with a porch. Our album "Marginalia" was released in January 2007 on Brah/Jagjaguwar.

Nurse and Soldier are Robertson Thacher (aka Oneida's Bobby Matador) and his longtime collaborator, Erica Fletcher. They've been making music together since their teenage years, and it shows in their nostalgic, wistful songs. This, their second full-length albums, comes on like the Fiery Furnaces stripped of their irritating whimsy and artifice.
