Hello everyone! I am Shannon. I love meeting people, enjoying nature/outdoors, and spending time with my kids. I am currently in school working on my Master's degree and enjoying my life. I love to have fun and enjoy what time off I have just goofing, walking the mountains, riding around on my motorcycle and enjoying friends.
Watching my kids grow up and their individual walks with God is exciting! God's done so much in their lives and to see the growth is amazing! He's brought them through trials, joys and triumphs and I know He has a lot more in store for them!! I love them so much and I have grown to trust God and trust what He has done in my life. Sometimes it's about stepping out into the unknown and praying instead of doing what we want.
I have met the most wonderful Christian man who is kind, gentle, caring and has a love for God. Richard has shown me what God wants for me and how God loves me. My anxiety level has gone way down as Richard encourages me to be everything I can! Thank you, Baby!
My dream is to be a counselor with a little house outside of town and travel around the United States in my free time. I love road trips and drives into the mountains! My home town is Santa Barbara, California. I love the weather there! I have moved to Tennessee and love it here, although I miss the kids a lot!! Richard asked me to marry him on Valentine's Day, 2008. What a wonderful man! I am very blessed to have him in my life!
I was diagnosed with Essential Tremors. I am very pro-medicine & pro-clinical testing of all kinds. I just went through 4 surgeries to implant a device called Deep Brain Stimulators (DBS). It's a wire on both sides of my brain which go down to generators in my chest. I can turn them on / off to stop the tremors. I pray that there will be a day that there's a cure for movement disorders such as Essential Tremors and Parkinson's. I love teaching about health and view having the Tremors as a learning as well as teaching time for me.

Hey! I've been doing really good. What about yourself? I quit working at Jc Pennys and will be starting a new job at Sykes the 20th. I'll be answering the phones helping Bank of America customers with whatever they need. It's neat. But that's whats going on with me lol. How are things going with you and Richard?
