In early 2009 artist/writer and ex-vocalist of Tokyo's DETRITUM, Jeremy Mauney, had the idea to create a black metal band utilizing 80's sci-fi synth-elements and basing song/lyrical content around his own extraterrestrial research. After a couple months of searching for interested and talented musicians, Jeremy was approached by video game composer and post-black metal band Inlaid Rust's solo member, Roland La Goy. Ideas were soon exchanged, and NUTRITION was born.
The lyrical content of NUTRITION's songs focus on 'extraterrestrial' research, ancient astronauts, conspiracies, and Earth's true history. If you'd like to know more, or are also involved in such research/experiences, feel free to contact Jeremy (contact info below).

I must say, this is the perfect nutrition for my musical diet. Truly epic stuff. I've also been in development of my own sub-genre of metal that I guess you could call "space metal." It is very satisfying to know that there are others who strive for that same sound. Keep it coming, keep it metal.
Hey man, keep forgetting to mention, I checked out the ep several times now and it's pretty fucking cool! Especially the first 2 songs. Also, having that....how to describe it...that alien type sound they used in old martian movies in there was pretty fuckin' cool!
