While the name ‘Nutrition on Tape’ is intended to evoke a kind of self-hypnosis diet audiobook, the recorded music blends aspects of idm, electronica, indie rock and trip-hop styles. Hardware sampling is used extensively to build songs from sounds which are short in duration. Key ingredients include drum machines, melodic stabs, sliced guitars, and chopped vocals.
The Queen Bee EP is my debut release - a solo effort written and produced in the corner of a London bed-sit during winter 08/09.
