Nuts and Bolts's Comedian Bio
|
| Bio | Since 2000, Nuts and Bolts has been making Rochester laugh. Years of sold out shows both in Rochester and NYC have made Nuts and Bolts Rochester's favorite Improv troupe. Started by two High School friends who were tired of making each other laugh, Nuts and Bolts is an ensemble show with something for everyone.
Our chosen style, improvisational comedy ("Improv"), allows us to customize each show to the venue and the audience. We encourage audience participation, taking suggestions to determine the theme and subject matter of the individual sketches. Everything you see is 100% improvised. The result is sometimes humorous, sometimes chaotic, but always entertaining.
Utilizing this style, Nuts and Bolts has brought their show to many venues including comedy clubs, bars, high schools, and colleges, and have also been able to perform for corporate events and fund raisers. The versatility and variation of the format keep the shows fresh and new, allowing repeat audience members to be familiar with the format, yet not bored with seeing the same show over and over. Members of Nuts and Bolts will be offering classes in Improv Comedy geared specifically towards Teens and Adults (2 separate classes) through Spotlight Theatre Arts. Expect these classes to be fun, exciting as well as educational. Improv skills come in handy in all sorts of life situations!
Teen Comedy Improv Workshop
Interactive workshop focusing on discovering and improving your own improvisational skills. Geared towards teens.
At Spotight Theatre/Upstage3 (3rd Floor of the Auditorium Theatre Center):
Tuesdays April 3-May 1 at 7-8:30pm
Cost: $85 per person.
Adult Comedy Improv Workshop
Interactive workshop focusing on discovering and improving your own improvisational skills. Geared towards adults and business professionals.
At Spotight Theatre/Upstage3 (3rd Floor of the Auditorium Theatre Center):
Tuesdays April 3-May 1 at 8:30-10pm
