Allow me to introduce the talented and widely anticipated, Nutty NRG
As a collective this dynamic TRIO, Ironic, Gizla, and Laurissa have been a group for the past 5 years. They have a real telepathy between them with regard to the science behind the music. This has meant that they can write, produce and perform their eclectic and orginal sound and have accumalated a huge fan base. Their music enables the listener to empathise to the issues within the music because their lyrics are real and hard hitting.
Nutty NRG are extremely talented and gifted and with the realisation that talent alone is not sufficient because, the music business was and still is merely a business, they decided to develop and improve their craft. Ironic & Gizla attended South Thames College, gaining a diploma in Professional Engineering, (NCFE Level 3), this course also enabled them to learn more about aspects of the music industry.
At age 20,24 and 28 years of age respectively, these three entrepreneurs built the NuttyFactory production company single-handed.
Since becoming Nutty NRG they have unwittingly created their own distinctive and unorthodox style. The way in which they produce, write and perform is unique
Ironic- “It all started on the endz back in 2001, Gizla and his brother Dutty Dread used to live in Streatham which is where I was living. Anyway, Gizla was already on the grizzly with the music thing and was in the pop group 50/50 back then, I was just known on tha endz for spittin fire. The problem was I didn’t have anywhere to vocal so it was all good when Dutty Dread hooked Gizla and me up.
See at that time Gizla had the staight jungle set up (Limited equipment) it weren’t much, but we was making do.
"And now thinking back that’s why we're here now, doing what we do so strong. Because, what we were creating back then, with the little we had was amazing, artistry at its finest. We all saw the vision, we knew what we had to do, and knew what we could all bring to the table as individual artist. From then on it was a done deal…."
