"My weekend in Cornelia, Georgia with NWA Anarchy was one of the most motivational and productive I have had in sometime. This is one of the most professionally run independent groups I have had the privilege of working with since beginning doing these weekend camps in 2003.
Everyone from owner Jerry Palmer right down to every wrestler that took part in the training camp were motivated to give the best they had to offer. We had over thirty young athletes from five different states and all of them put their nose to the grindstone and worked to the highest level. It’s a shame that every indie operation isn’t run as business like as the Cornelia promotion.
In producing their television program Bill Behrens ran a pro style production meeting and each off us in that meeting walked out with a typed run sheet and knew what our part was in the taping. I also had the chance to visit with Rich Tate and part of the Georgia Wrestling History radio crew who joined us on Saturday.
I left Georgia fired up and with the hope that I will return to Anarchy sometime soon to work again with this stellar group of people. "
- Legendary NWA broadcaster and former World Tag Team Champion Les Thatcher
"When we promoted wrestling in the Tennessee territory we were recognized as a great place for talent to break into the business. We got a lot of good talent started in the business. Bill Behrens (Executive Producer of NWA Anarchy) does
today what we used to do, so he is a man who can help a talent to launch
their career." - legendary wrestling promoter, Jerry Jarrett

NWA Anarchy Wrestling was started when its predecessor NWA Wildside closed on April 30, 2005 as a result of then owner Bill Behrens employment with World Wrestling Entertainment's developmental program Deep South Wrestling. Anarchy held its innagural event on May 21, 2005 at the NWA Television Arena in Cornelia, GA. and ran under the ownership of a consortium for a brief period of time, and in the fall of 2005 was purchased by local hero, firefighter and businessman, Jerry Palmer. JP took the task of taking wrestling in the NWA Arena to the next level and that he did.
While NWA Wildside was very popular with the internet wrestling community for its fast paced in ring product, NWA Anarchy appeals to its local audience providing a southern flavored product that doesn't shy away on action, but is driven more by the oratory skills of the talent roster, and good old fashioned story telling. This resulted in many NWA Anarchy events breaking the NWA Arena's past attendance records, and even branching out to towns such as Helen and Gainesville, GA for supercards that each time out broke the Anarchy attendance records.
In September of 2005, after a falling out with World Wrestling Entertainment, former Wildside owner Bill Behrens joined NWA Anarchy Wrestling as Executive Producer. As a result, effective January 2006, NWA Anarchy Wrestling inherited the NWA Wildside TV syndication network and began broadcasting their weekly television program across the U.S., United Kingdom and Italy, as well as weekly on the internet at www.thesuperstation.tv.
