Total Devstation says they should be next - not Blacktinos!
Total Devastation says they want theTexas Regulators next in a NWA Texas Tag Team title shot over Blacktinos, who are already seeking a rematch after one half of the tag DK King could not finish the match on July 19 suffering temporary paralysis with no feeling in his arm. Devastator said the Blacktinos need to get over it and move on. They have been the champs twice now but it is clear they're not strong enough to handle bigger and stronger opponents like us and Texas Regulators. "We match up well with Jason to Widowmaker and myself to Crash. The fans want to see this match where all four men will finish and we'll finish them for the belt."
BLACKTINO'S KING MEDICAL UPDATE: PARTNER RAMIERZ SEEKS REMATCH!
HOUSTON - NWA-SW has been advised by DJ King's tag partner Galan Ramierz at Noon today that King suffered temporary paralysis and endured such severe pain after their match that he blacked out.
King was given x-rays and pain killers and held under observation at the hosptial until 1:30 a.m. before being released, and then was drove back to Houston by his partner. He was instructed to take two weeks off from the ring and take medication.
Ramirez said they would have not lost the title had the injury not occurred. "They're days injuries are going to happen and injuries effect outcomes," he said. "I am not taking anything away from the Texas Regulators because the injury was not their fault, or was not illegal on their part, but how much pride can they have today in winning our title when my partner is down and out and can't move at all. I see no glory in winning our belts with a two on one finish involved!"
Ramirez said if the Texas Regulators are true champions they will give them a rematch and let the results be determined with all four men still standing at the end of the match.
New NWA Texas Tag Team champions were crowned July 19 with Texas Regulators (Crash & Widowmaker) taking out the two-time champion The Blacktinos at Balch Springs Civic Center in Dallas. Crash got the pin at 15:36 with a double choke slam to pin Galan Ramierz.
The match ended up as two on one attack on Blactktino's Ramierz as partner J King was hurt in the match and unable to continue leaving Ramirez alone. DJ King was taken from the ring complaining of no feeling in his arm, and in daze requiring on the scene medical assitance. He was neck braced and gurney to an emergency ambulance and taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation . King's conditon has not been reported as of 10 p.m.
NWA star Chaz Taylor was also on the card and won his match over Rueben Riveria with an elbow drop off the top rope to cover at 10:12 mark.
