    New NWA  TEXAS  JR. CHAMPION
    crowned in Corpus Christi Dec. 3rd

    NWA-SW/GCWA 's "Christmas Chaos" Main Event at Dalila's Event Center in Corpus Christi on December 3 was the champ SKAM-13 versus challenger Rudy Russo.  It was a back and forth technical match for the most part lasting 19:36 minutes.  Russo got the upper hand when he locked SKAM-13 into a torture rack, and dropped to his knees with him on top to force a tap out.

     

    The Mexico lucha libre star SKAM-13, who won the belt on September 4 in Houston at NWA-SW/WOW, vowed he would get the belt back in the time honored NWA rematch to be announced. Russo said winning the belt is a life-long dream come true, and he'll hold it in great fashion and tenure.

    NATIONAL WRESTLING ALLIANCE ANNOUNCES JAKKS AGREEMENT
     
    The National Wrestling Alliance is pleased to announce that it has entered into a licensing agreement with JAKKS Pacific for NWA Legends action figures. The five-year deal also covers other products that the parties might look to market in the future.
     
    "Having the opportunity to partner with an industry-leader like JAKKS Pacific is very exciting for us", said NWA Executive Director Robert K. Trobich. "The NWA brand has always stood for the best in professional wrestling, and I think this agreement shows that our brand continues to be recognized as a signature of quality."  Mr Trobich added, "I also want to thank Fred Rubenstein of the NWA Board of Directors for being instrumental in putting this agreement together."

    NWA Southwest has restored the Territory system in Texas & Oklahoma. NWA Southwest is the only wrestling organization in Texas/Oklahoma with a Territory system and legit State Champions who actually travel to defend titles.  We'll be announcing our 12th Anniversary Show in the coming weeks.  Over 600 Shows since 1998!
