Spring is here and so are the butterflies! This week I have a gallery of a particular group of butterflies called Brushfoots. Brushfoots are the most commonly known and encountered of the large colorful butterflies (excluding the swallowtails) found in Florida and the Americas. These include the monarchs, fritillaries, buckeyes, and the viceroy below (who has nearly identical markings as the toxic monarch butterfly) to keep it from being eaten by birds.... cool trick, huh? :-)

Hey talented lady, I haven't heard from you in a while. How was your Trick or Treat? I dressed my huge dog up like a lion and went to the Rogers Animal Parade... my source, didn't realize that it was a parade for tots to dress up like animals, LOL. We were the only real animal, but everyone loved him, loved ON him, and took more photos of him than of the little tots, LOL. We had a blast. I didn't go anywhere but Aaron went to the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' at the U.T. Ofcourse, being an actor he had to be the BEST Dr. Freankenfurter. I guess running for President is out now, to many blackmail photos. LOL Hope you are well, and happy. Think about ya'll and hope it's taking off for you. My computer connection is so slow I only get mail from my Yahoo on my phone. Diann
