Creado en 1999, Nyahbingi Sound es una de las formaciones más veteranas de la incipiente escena reggae/dancehall estatal. Habiendo actuado en paises como Escocia, Francia, Italia, Chile o Colombia y compartiendo cartel con sound systems como Stone Love, David Rodigan, Saxon Sound o Mighty Crown.
Siempre en contacto con la actualidad jamaicana, los miembros de Nyahbingi Sound crean NBC Producciones, actualmente una de las agencias más activas de música negra. Encargandose del management de grupos como The Pepper Pots, Hermano L o Soweto, y de la contratación en España de artistas como Dr.Ring Ding, Bitty McLean, Derrick Morgan o Ken Boothe, y organizando festivales y tours durante el año.
Nyahbingi se presenta como uno de los colectivos más activos pudiendo ofrecer en directo una vibrante mezcla de sonidos jamaicanos así como colaboraciones junto a reconocidos artistas como General Levy, Bitty McLean, Chukki Starr, Chuck Fender, Earl 16 o Dr Ring Ding.

From 1999 spreading jamaican music in Spain, Nyahbingi Sound is one of the most repected crews of the dancehall reggae spanish scene. With a really large collection of original jamaican singles (from the first ska recordings to the brand new jamaican dancehall productions), Nyahbingi Sound has played all over Spain and also in countries like Scotland, France, Italy, Chile or Colombia and played alongside sound systems like Stone Love, David Rodigan, Saxon Sound or Mighty Crown.
Always linked to the jamaican music actuality, members of Nyahbingi Sound run also NBC Producciones, one of the most active black music agencies from Spain. Gli mc’s, cantanti e musicisti “apulici”, in un lavoro che conserva l’immediatezza delle dance-hall e la genuinità delle mix tapes, si esprimono senza mezzi termini sul microcosmo culturale e sociale della penisola nella penisola: la Puglia. E’ un viaggio che dalla loro regione si apre al mondo, trasportandoci in un universo di precarietà esistenziale, antiche e nuove crisi economiche, stati normativi di eccezione per i migranti della Terra rinchiusi nei Cpt, gioia di vivere, resistenza civile e amore per la propria terra. Agli esponenti storici della Tribe si aggiungono nuove e originali voci, dalla Terra di Bari al Salento, dall’Altopiano delle Murge alle sterminate coste ioniche e adriatiche, per una tradizione musicale che si rinnova nel presente e nel passato.
