Nya was formed in Southern England in 2007 by five experienced touring musicians. Having spent the last eighteen months perfecting the line up, honing their sound, and creating an intensely high energy live show, Nya have recently embarked on their first UK tour in promotion of their self titled Demo/EP.
The EP successfully demonstrates a refreshing balance of catchy choruses, heavy riffing and trademark melodic, harmonious vocals.
Having received a series of rave reviews for both the EP and their live shows, Nya are now in the final stages of recording their first full length album ‘Through The Grey’. Following its completion later this year, the band will be taking their brand of groove laden melodic metal and super-charged live show back out on the road, extensively touring the UK and Europe on the back of the new release.
