An internationally renowned visual artist with a long established reputation of painting landscapes and still lifes in oil and water colour.

You know, does anyone actually just do one thing these days? I mean in the sense that "I am a [fill in appropriate response here]". I know I don't; many fingers many pies and all that; I mean I'm an artist by profession; it's what I 'trained' to do, but my income - as is common these days - is supplemented by running my own web design and (computer) technical support services; that's what keep bread regularly on the table.
I do prefer it that way though, it keeps things interesting and constantly evolving, but, it's also hard to 'sate' one's thirst for that illusive 'nadir' or pinnacle of achievement in a given subject or topic, especially so when this seems to be the way people generally think; "you should focus on one thing sunnyjim and get good at that", why? It seems so limiting to me but then being a creative genius *cough* one can't help but be all over the place when the mind is so restless.
