I forget what my interests are. That part of my brain has been usurped by the virulence factors of endless species of bacteria.Music
I like almost everything. But for some reason, I tend to gravitate toward Canadian Rock Bands...The Tea Party, Econoline Crush, etc. Rob Zombie, Poe, A Perfect Circle, Cold, Live, Bon Jovi. I'm down with most hair bands from the 80s. I do not like country music. My wedding song, Nina Gordon's Tonight, is pretty good. VAST, Savatage. ..Movies
I don't know...I liked Sin City, I guess because it was different. I am also a big fan of old Mystery Science Theatre 3000 episodes. Does that count? Napoleon Dynamite was hilarious. If you didn't think so, you probably just didn't get it. I loved Young Guns II though it was mostly for the soundtrack.Television

House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski. Back when I used to read non-scientific books, I liked Piers Anthony and Anne Rice for a good quick read.

I was born in Syracuse, NY and moved to San Diego when I was 18 to go to college at UCSD. After getting my BS in Animal Physiology & Neuroscience, I worked in a mucosal immunology laboratory at UCSD. Then I continued there for medical school and after 9 long years in San Diego, I'm finally severing ties with the university and heading out to Nashville, TN to start my internal medicine residency and to see a different part of the country. .. ..Who I'd like to meet:
