To FLOW with NYC Flaggers means you have stepped into a community of fabric spinners and tie dying artists who get high on whirling colors and bonding with our flagging friends. FLOW is a flagging class offered bi-weekly to help us hone our flagging skill, learn new moves and practice without the fear of judgment.

Mykel's first discipline in the arts was dance. In tandem with his talent as a singer, Mykel trained in the jazz, ballet, tap, afro Brazilian, and musical theater dance forms. He successfully transferred his training into the health and fitness industry where he taught various styles of aerobics dance classes.
Mykel is happy to once again offer his experience and training to NYC Flaggers!

George Jagatic
Founder Axis Danz/ Dance Therapist at Village Care of NY
George has a long history in dance and other movement art forms. George fuses his skills in dance, flagging and movement therapy to provide enriching experiences which encourage self discovery for the mind, body and spirit.
Much of his clinical work focuses ..ing cross-addicted men and women cope with having HIV and achieving a deeper engagement in their daily lives.
His company, Axis Danz, has performed internationally at a variety of venues including television and film and was recently featured on Gotham TV as one of the exciting dance/art forms to emerge from the creative Manhattan scene.
We are NYC Flaggers! We are an innovative, cutting edge flagging community based out of New York City. We are not a flagging troupe. We are a community of flagger's, fanners, poi spinners, performance artists, dancers, singers, 9-5 professionals, who celebrate in the art form of flag dancing. We are a flagging community where diversity and innovation create magic when we flow.
NYC Flaggers has a wide range of ages, cultures, flagging styles and talents that harmonize and materialize on dance floors, parks, parades, television… where ever a touch of flagging magic is required.
