If you receive a friend request from us and you're not from New York, it means we like your music!!! While most of our efforts are dedicated to promoting New York bands, we recognize that good music comes from everywhere, and as we grow we will provide many opportunities for our out-of-towner friends to share their sounds here -- for example, we are planning a second music player so we will have one just for New York bands and one for everybody else. And non-New York bands, you can send us your videos RIGHT NOW...we'll post them on our website! Out-of-towners, you can also use the comprehensive booking listings on our "Promo Opportunities" page to help book your NY tour -- many bands have done this quite successfully! If we haven't yet stumbled across your MySpace profile, feel free to send us a friend request...contrary to what you may have heard about New York, it's like the "nexus of friendliness" around here...WE LOVE MUSIC and we'll friend you!
