Introducing the NYC Transformerz
The New York City Transformerz are exceptional performers who combine their dance and circus skills with an electric urban street energy. This handful of artists bring theatrical and circus arts to a human level relevant to today's environment. Using such wide ranging disciplines as acrobatics, aerial acrobatics, break dance, poppin',lockin',contemporary dance, hand balancing, fencing, drama, Mc'ing, humor and illustration , these performers jump from one skill to the next interpreting each in surprising and innovating ways.
About the NYC Transformerz
The New York City Transformerz was founded in New York City by a group of seasoned theatrical performers fresh off the stages of such groups as Ringling Bros. Circus, Cirque du soleil , Boston Ballet,The Royal Ballet ,Antigravity ,and more.
The Transformerz have also performed live with the following performance artists ;
Earth Wind and Fire,Stevie Wonder,Madonna,A Perfect Circle,Prodigy,Run DMC,Alicia Keys and The Black Eyed Peas among others.
They have been featured in print campaigns for Freddy , Trinity Kerr , Fubu , Ali Smith , Haagen Daas (Europe) , Marithe Francois Gibaud , Armani (Europe) , and more.
In addition to this they have also appeared in numerous music videos as featured artists as well as having provided choreography and performance at prestigious events such as the Apex Gala and the Grammy Awards.
These friends decided it was time to offer something new to the performing arts scene , to combine their years of experience and their multiple talents to create an entirely original flavor of theatrical arts.
Bringing theatrical arts to a human scale, the shows they create are of an intimate nature, daringly contemporary, and guided by the contagious urban energy of true hip hop culture.
They merge a unique variety of art forms into into one exciting and thought provoking performance experience.A rare blend of theater,dance,acrobatics,circus arts and stunts , the New York City Transformerz venture time and again into uncharted artistic territory. The first theatrical and street performance collective in in North America , the New York City Transformerz begin each creation with a spirit of collectivity , enhancing their creativity , yielding results beyond the capacity of a single director.

· A packed house at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in which to perform
· Invitations to attend any and all VIP events hosted by the SFHHDF
· Opportunities to connect with dancers from all over the globe
· Media coverage
COMPANIES MUST PROVIDE-
· Companies MUST provide a HIGH RES URL, BIO and PHOTO
· Companies must submit/audition THE SAME PIECE that they intend to perform
· Pieces must be between 6-9 MINUTES long

What we look for:
