ROOM 1 : DECIBEL DISCO LABORATORY
Decibel is an organization that works year-round to bring quality international and national electronic music acts to Seattle, while still showcasing and encouraging local talent. After the resounding success of the 2005, 2006 and 2007 Decibel Festivals (10,000+ attendants in both 2006 and 2007) the Decibel organization is once again focusing their attention on larger one-off events as lead up to the 2008 Decibel Festival.
For "Science Friction" Decibel will be providing the legendary KV2 sound system and transforming the dance studio into a "Disco Laboratory" that reaches critical mass at midnight. ROOM 2 : FLIGHT TO MARS / SUNTZU SOUND
Flight to Mars is a Seattle based arts organization, and a theme camp that has been participating in Burning Man every year since 2001. They put incredible amount energy into transforming an environment through interactive multimedia sculptures and quality dance music.
Created in 2002, SunTzu are best known as torchbearers of the rising brokenbeat scene. The crew’s tireless efforts have made them an indispensable mainstay in Seattle, where they regularly book and promote top-shelf international talent and serve as the weekly hosts of Friday night’s City Soul on KBCS 91.3 FM. ROOM 3 : SHAMELESS / FOURTHCITY : ROBOT WARRIORS!
Founded is 2003, Shameless has played a major role in building up the now thriving underground dance community in Seattle. Known for their wild parties, attention to detail and raucous music, Shameless have developed a loyal audience via their involvement with the Decibel Festival After parties and the wildly popular "Broken Disco" monthly at Chop Suey.
Focusing on Hip Hop and more adventurous forms of electronic music, Fourthcity have built up an arsenal of talent and fans through weekly club events, promotional tactics and their own Fourthcity Record Label.
