"There is only one thing we can ever truly control. Whether we are good, or evil." taken from the show Star Gate (this quote is not about absolutes, but in the context it meant that you should not hate yourself if you tried your best to be a good person)
Who am I? I am not a "everyday boring" guy. But I like that, and embrace it. I guess I just like to be myself. I am real into music. Its like the life blood of life to me. My tastes are very eclectic. But most people see me as the guy who has stuff that is unheard of but they end up loving it once they hear it. I like to play guitar and sing along to the music that I connect with. I am far from a rock star. I just like to pluck away and see what my soul sends out.
I am former Army soldier who was fortunate enough to live in Europe for almost 6 years. I would not trade those memories or experiences for anything either. I was a medic in the military, so I was the guy who was there to help people more than hurt them.
I am told, I am a very kind soul. I would say I am too, but it is nice to know people see me as that too. I am very adventurous (I could take you to places in Denver that most natives had no clue existed and that is their loss.) I have that same attitude when I cook. I tend to eat like a European; small portions of rich savory food. To me, life is about enjoying the cream in life with moderation and self control, but I still try to eat healthy.
I also like to be outdoors. I just got my mountain bike all tuned up so I am looking forward to some nice trail rides with my puppy running along side. But I have to confess I am not hard core at it. It is more for fun. A good way to get out into nature. I like to ride motorcycles and hike in the woods to escape the stresses of life. Other days, I like to spend time mulling around funky shops searching for hidden gems. I also like to go dancing at clubs, or traveling. I could go on and on, but really just ask me I am pretty open.
A short description of me: I am fun, sometimes funny and goofy but in a good way. I am creative, caring, intense, relaxed, und so wisse. I like to have fun in life, to dance my cares away, throw myself off a mountain on my snowboard or quietly contemplate life in a low key setting. Thats me, I try to be well rounded and fun. I strive to be the person that people can count on when they need someone to just listen. On flip side I am the same person that would drag them on stage and get them to dance their cares away too.
MY PAST: I grew up on Grand Island NY (its a real island up stream from Niagara Falls). Left joined the army and live in Europe for 5 years. Mostly in Giebelstadt Army airbase, but I also lived in Wuerzburg, Garmish Paternkichen (think Vail in Germany) and Augsburg. Germany holds a special place in my heart. In the US, I've lived in San Antonio TX and Washington DC, Silver Spring MD and north of Baltimore MD.
PRESENTLY: I live in Colorado. I decided to move here after I got a hair up my ass to get out of Wash DC. It was too flat and not much to do in the winter other than freeze. I think I made a wise choice. My interests include: Riding and building custom motorcycles. I love to go snowboarding. I have been snowboarding for 14 years. I am not a park rider, I like to hike for the powder. A beautiful day in the back country is my dream day of snowboarding. If you have never tried, you are missing out. You can also find me at numerous concerts all the time. If you want to know any good bands coming up to Denver, ask. Or if you have a suggestion, fire away. My best buddy is Schatze my lovable puppy. She has an insatiable drive to play frisbee, LOL. She can put a smile on my face when no one else can, what more can you ask for? Hopefully this winter I can take Schatze to Loveland Pass for a day of hiking and riding. If you want to come along let me know. Yeah, I'll just love to brag about the best girl in the world. SCHATZE!!!! Isn't she
cute!

I would love to find a companion that is interested in a life filled with adventure, stories, travel and purpose. Someone who is smart, adventurous, and open-minded. Someone who believes in themselves, who is a dreamer with a good heart. Someone who is fun, sometimes funny maybe even a goof, but in a good way. Someone attractive in her own special way.
I want meet someone who likes the serenity of the great outdoors, but also enjoys the microcosm of city life too. Someone who looks at food and music with an open mind. Someone who can appreciate a fine wine paired to a 5 course exotic meal but, still enjoy the simplicity of real macaroni and cheese.
I would also like to meet, Juan Mann. Check out the video on the bottom of my page. Its a short film about a guy named Juan Mann. Juan is the original person who started the free hugs campaign. I'd like to meet him. I love his attitude. What a fun idea, and it put a smile on my face when I saw it. Its off the wall fun, yet, has a compassionate purpose. Juan's idea, could lead to some fun adventures in Denver.

Yes, it would have even been more interesting were John able 2 utilize the wild ski footage we got on the same camping trip...XZ says she has it, but it's lost in a sea of never ending files, so...good memories, though. I love risking a broken neck on a ski slope and having nothing 2 show 4 it...
