About me: Phil Fiumano is a prolific producer and cinematographer hailing from
New York City.
My Bio is I was born the youngest of three children on December 17, 1963. Phil's parents exchanged the trappings of downtown Brooklyn to raise him, his sister Arlene and brother Paul in what was then the suburbs of
New York - Staten Island.
While my grandparents remained Brooklynites, me and my family started a new beganing it was 1964 in a new world - in more ways than one. After all, The Beatles had just arrived and within the next decade much of the world was about to change having seen a Kiss Poster in my cousin's Bedroom , I became a Huge Kiss Fan and listening to Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley speak and talk about anything you want to do or be in life you can make it happen in life they did .
Phil, having been bitten by the artistic bug, attended Tottenville High School where he majored in Graphic Arts and Photography subsequently graduated the CMA Center of Media Arts in Manhattan for Television Production.
Phil served with the District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn in the Media Department and spent several years working with a local video production company and now works with the Aquarian Weekly & East Coast Rocker Music Entertainment Weekly Newspaper and with The Production & Transportion Crew of Reilly Worldwide for Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice last two Years in a row.
In an effort to capitalize on his experience and expand his horizons, Phil sought after and received certification as an Independent Television Producer/Host Cameraman & Video Editor from Staten Island Community TV (CTV).
Phil is a top-shelf cinematographer, producing and editing videos and manning the video camera in the never-ending quest to capture the moment. He also specializes in computer graphics techniques as he feels that the finishing touches and attention to detail are critical to his work.
As the president and owner of Dream On Productions, Inc., Phil presides over all facets of his work, including this website!
But he doesn't stop there!
Phil now hosts his own Weekly TV show called NY Rocks TV on Public Access Television for AOL Time Warner Studios and here on Myspace, Veoh TV & Streams on NYRockstv.com .
"I named NY Rocks TV after New York in memory of the 9/11 victims. I came up with the idea because of the legacy of our city and that we will go on living to be strong, proud and positive. We should think of life as a gift from God and we should cherish our loved ones that we lost that day."
