About me:
The New York Wrestling Connection, better known simply as The NYWC, is the most exciting independent wrestling organization in New York!
In early 2000, John Curse formed Critical Mass Pro Wrestling, a wrestling school and training facility for local wrestlers and hopefuls. Not content to merely train, NYWC was launched in order to give students practical experience in the ring.
Soon, NYWC had a loyal following of fans who attended exhibitions at their training facility, and in time, the small group of trainees matured the NYWC into one of the hottest independent promotions around! Plus, the old school has now blossomed into the NYWC Training Center, led by none other than the former ECW Champion, Mikey Whipwreck!
Today, the NYWC continues to gain steam in the business, attracting more fans and making each show better than the last. With a large cast of dedicated athletes, styles range from high-flying to lucha, power to submission, and even a little hardcore thrown in for good measure.
The NYWC has produced recent WWE Superstars Mikey "Spirit Squad" Mondo and WWE tag Team Champions Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder. So any NYWC fan knows that for those who love wrestling, an NYWC show is the place to be!
