My father was a veteran of WWII and a Military Police Officer who spent time in North Africa, Cairo Egypt and many other exotic places. He was my inspiration to write as he always had an interesting story to tell. In the small town where I lived, he brought the world to me through his words. He was a kind hearted, gentle and soft spoken man who could usually be found sitting on the porch with a good cup of coffee and smoking a cigarette. When he died my cousin Denny said, "The world will never be the same without Uncle Henry." He was right.
