Oak begann Ende der Neunziger mit dem Auflegen. Damals konzentrierte er seine Musikleidenschaft noch hauptsächlich auf US-Hip Hop. Im Laufe der Jahre erweiterte sich seine Musikpalette aber um diverse neue Genres, angefangen bei Broken Beats bis hin zu House und Nu-Jazz.
