CURRENT HAPPENINGS: welcome 2008
First off we have had HUGE success with Chamillionaire. Chamillionaire's UNI release "Sound of Revenge" has gone Platinum and his single "Ridin" was ..1 on the Billboard TOP 100. We have been moving huge amounts of his 4 catalog titles: Mix Tape Messiah, Tippin' Down, Chamillitary and The Truth.
Other great RAP projects going for us right now from Swishahouse with Lil Keke, Boss Hogg Outlawz and Slim Thug, Rick Ross, Twista, Lord Infamous, B.G, Paul Wall, Lil C, 50/50 Twin, Nino and many, many others.
The Blenders: Another Holiday season is past and the band hit the Billboard Holiday Charts again to go along with their sold out Christmas Tour.
We recently put out the UGK DVD "Making of the Album" to great success. We also want to pay our respects to the late and great Pimp C who had such a great influence on all of the rapper's today.
Aries Spears Live CD "I ain't scared" is doing well. Aries will be on tour for most of 2008 promoting his CD's. Look for him on syndicated reruns of MAD TV every day on Comedy Central.
Coming on March 4th will be the new studio CD from the Bodeans. With T Bone Burnett back producing the band this is sure to be a great year for Kurt and Sam. The first single will be at radio in early February. We have been looking forward to this release for quite some time.
Also on the horizon are releases from former Megadeth bassist Dave Ellefson's band F5 and Memphis rap queen La Chat.
