O.B.E. are a Scottish dance/funk/punk collective formed in summer 2005. Hailing from Oban, Glasgow and the mighty Aberfeldy they have taken the independent Scottish scene by storm. Winners of the infamous Glasgow vs. Edinburgh Battle of the Bands which ended in a mass riot receiving national press coverage. This just 4 months after forming.
A hypnotic, speed-fueled, howling, spitting animal of an outfit they are noted for their tight, aggressive yet funky live shows which encourage dancing without exception. The band have been compared to New Yorkers 'The Rapture', 'Talking Heads' and '!!!' but the truth is they have something completely of there own.
In 2006 O.B.E. Headlined the Liquid Rooms for the music and culture magazine 'The Skinny's' 1st Birthday party. They followed this with an appearance before a packed T in the Park crowd, before capping off a dazzling year by playing by invitation at Manchester's 'In the City'.
2007 will see the band gigging relentlessly with a single release in the offing along with a fantastic promotional video. Very much a DIY band they have a huge following with Supporters including Vic Galloway, Gill Mills, Jim Gellatly and Colin Murray. A session on Radio 1 will be aired in June/July of this year which will coincide with the release of the new single.

I fancy the drummer when he puts on make up to make him look just like the singer when the light strikes him in such a way that he resembles the guitarist who looks strangely similar to the bassist!! Lee Graham (the lead siger/guitarist from the band formerly known as "Isle of Me"
