Welcome to the Twisted Sound Circus that Is Obey The Altar Native.
Many people have asked, who are these fools, and who do they think they are making such beautiful music? The answer remains locked inside of the dark recesses of three inhuman minds.
For those of you who feel that HipHop music has been stolen from you and replaced with this hollow shell of a genre of music that is broadcast and sold today....fear no more. For those of you who grew up on Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Rakim and Special Ed, and now believe that the music being shoved down our throats daily is being recorded by people who are "Special Ed", fear no more. If the clothes you wear fit you and people look at you as an outsider.....fear no more. If you deal with the standard 9-5 type job, or any other job for that matter that requires you to get paid either by check or automatic deposit, fear no more. If you like your music with a touch of thought and soul and hard hitting grooves, fear no more. For we have arrived to claim ground and take over of a new genre of music........Easy Listening! For years HipHop music has turned it's back on those who appreciated the art form and the history. With a line up consisting of Souls Of Mischief, Wu-Tang Clan, The Pharcyde, Organized Konfusion, Camp Lo, Blackalicious, Common, Talib Kweli, Jurassic 5, Juggaknots, Madlib/Quasimoto, MF Doom, Kool Keith, De La Soul, Del the Funkee Homosapien, Hieroglyphics, Mountain Brothers, Aceyalone, Lootpack, Spontaneous, Mobb Deep, OutKast, MC Breed, Pete Rock C.L Smooth, Eminem, Questionmark Asylum, Sage Francis, Ras Kass, The Roots, The Beatnuts, No I.D., Redman, Digable Planets, Tha Alkaholiks, Spice 1 (Yeah I said it), Das Efx, Greenhouse Effect, Blueprint, Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Eydea & Abilities, The Orphanage, Aesop Rock, Cannibal Ox, El-P, Cage, Dj Jazzy Jeff, Rob Sonic and Abstract Rude just to name a few, why are we forced to listen to garbage on the airwaves? And that's just the Hiphop side of it not including all the other types of music that has been long lost and forgotten in the shuffle (i.e. Esthero, Bjork, Olive, The art of noise and Jamiroquai).
The proposed plan is to take over another form of music and inject soul into thus birthing a new generation of music makers that you can count on to make quality productions. HipHop abandoned us all in the late nineties, I don't care what any die hard fan says....Look at the culture, there's not even remnants of creativity aside from artists mentioned above. Society as a whole is growing more ignorant as a result. We're taking a broad category of music (Easy Listening) and we're going to take it over like Corporate America took over HipHop. It begins now. The Re-emergence of Cool. Esthero asked for a Musical Revolution a while ago and people ignored her. Look at the scene now. Throw a fist in the air and follow us into this New Rhyme Order. Support the Revolution. Obedience Cool OUT NOW ON ITUNES!!!...................
