Obliq’s music has been described as vulnerable, beautiful and sublime pop and has made its way in to people’s hearts around the world. With their release of Antenna and its beautiful tracks from the cold north, Obliq hopes to bring you a music experience outside the norm. Matt Karmil, producer of such acts as Portishead, Massive attack, Sugababes and Neneh Cherry has combined expertise and experience with the youthful and promising Swedish band Obliq. Result: the critically acclaimed single "Solo". The Swedish music-blog scene has described Obliq's music as: “Obliq..s music is so beautiful and fragile that your heart bleeds when you listen to it” - “Feelings, harmonies and melodies come together perfectly in a landscape of sounds”. The debut album "Antenna" caught the attention of Thomasonsounds and a distribution contract was set up to bring Obliq to the Japanese audience. Japanese clothing company "Tomorrowland" was impressed by the band and decided to incorporate this emerging Scandinavian act into theadvertisement of its new clothing range.....After a successful tour of Europe in 2009, Obliq is looking to spread their music even further with a tour scheduled for summer 2010.
