Our first name was Cursed at Birth, but soon changed to Sodomized Corpse then it got changed to Serpents Spawn which we kept for awhile. Since Steve has left we feel like we needed a new name and a new start so now we are Obliviated. Our band started off as just a side project for our other bands that we were in. It was nothing special, until Steve and Jay decided that their other band wasn't working out, so Steve and Jay were like, lets just get serious with "sodomized corpse" which was the name at the time. But the band was still in need of a bassist, Steve knew a guy that was insane on bass, that man was Kimio. Serpents Spawn was born in Februrary 2006. with the line up of: Christ - Vocals, Steve - Vocals/Guitar, Kimio - Bass, Diego - Guitar, and Jay - Drums. But Diego for his undedication to the band was kicked out so we went on a search for another guitarist. We came up with a guy named Eddie who had previously been kicked out of a band but has metal soul that we all share. Now since Jay has left the band from personal reasons the search was on to find another drummer so we looked around for awhile found some good candidates but they didnt pull though. One day Steve asked Diego if he wanted to play drums for us and he agreed so Serpents Spawn was back up and running and we are going to be starting to practice shortly. Now since Steve has left the band, Here is the new Line Up: Cam - Guitar, Kimio - Bass/Vocals, Eddie - Guitar and Diego - Drums. Our goal is to rise in the underground death/black metal scene around toronto, fuck metalcore music. LONG LIVE BRUTALITY IN ALL METALHEADS!
