| General | Hmmm... what interests me today.?.
Nothing, everything and all that's in between.
MUSIC - Music - music...Dressing up, never down, sometimes un-dressing if there's someone to un with or for. Must be wearing some expensive lingerie. I enjoy wearing good lingerie- but if you enjoy wearing it as well, that's o.k. as long as the shoe {or should i say stocking} fits. In other words; you've got to be able to pull it off, but I'd prefer you to keep it on until...alright. Enough about those interests. I like steak, I like lobster, I like steak!!! Having dinner parties, road trips, travelling, 5 STAR HOTELS, room service, desert motels {"I'm a prickly pear."}, camping in farely well self contained campgrounds with bathrooms or perhaps not..I've never done what a bear does in the woods. Maybe it would be freeing. And boy, could I use some FREEDOM! I love all things British -people, High Tea, Sunday Dinner w/ Yorkshire Pudding {yum}, shopping in the High Street Ken & Hyper Hyper, if it still exsists, the Kings Road, World's End, my old flat in London, squatting, heated towel racks, BritPop, dance-clubs, playing venues, picking mushrooms in my backyard on the Common,waking to a fair in my same backyard, Neil's Yard, Covent Garden, oh, how could I forget:greasy breakfasts w/ fried tomato & beans straight off the grill. This is turning into a food-fest & I'm feeling a bit peckish, but we've nothing to eat in our delapitating house just up the road from the country club. The dichotomy nearly kills me.
The Lower Haight coffee houses{i'm now in San Francisco}, The Tea Gardens, my old friends whom I've lost touch with up there, trash nights in the good parts of town{kinda dumpster diverish sans the dumpsters}, working as a balloon & flower singing telegram deliverer dressed as Little Red Riding Hood{That I Would Like To Do Again!}, The Red Light District Strip Clubs & the Opera Bar and even Fisherman's Warf... New York's alright...!!!
Anything Art-Deco, including music, fashion, architecture, literature, art, film, Absinthe and Opium Dens, {the last 2, I know: shame on me, but my truth though I've never indulged}. Oh, and flappers, of course! I may have been one if past lives are factual and not fictional........And I love to write and turn it all into a song sometimes, transmitting it through my voice and geeter.
O.K. my favorite thing/being, is my Chihuahua,Taco Bella who is right beside me now. And.......chivalrous men...Where are you???
I've also been known to act my way through life. If you know me then you know what I mean. Double-entendre-ing<{my word of the day}
Of course there's much more that I'm sure will appear here in time...or won't. | | Music | How can I possibly put all of the musical artists who I love on paper in one sitting? It isn't possible. So I'll try to generalize without being too general...The Sweet & Elton John were the 1st albums I ever bought when I was about 9 yrs. old. Hate to admit it, but The Bay City Rollers {S A T U R
D A Y NIGHT}was next. Oh, and I mustn't forget before I discovered rock 'n' roll, my dad taught me every Frank Sinatra song there was and mom taught me all the Cole Porter ones and the like from the late, late shows [Fred Astaire & Ginger Rogers}my favorite to date: "Isn't It A Lovely Day To Be Caught In The Rain". Dad also turned me on to K A L A M A Z O O, I Got A Girl From <. LOVE the BIG BANDS & the Hutton Sisters{Yes, there was another besides Betty}. Back to the 1960's & my brother's records that I snuck into the room & played. Everything from The Beatles{the finest writers in my opinion}to Hendrix & even the Broadway soundtrack of Hair.....
