Miss Oblivious started making zines in the early 90's grrrl scene in SF. Her first mess was called "No Boys ALOUD" and was only 5 pages and lasted only one issue, she then was inspired by a CRass song and Published "Cunt Fear",focusing on Bikini Kill, Tribe 8, Cypher in the snow, Joan Jett, Lunachicks,Stone Fox, GB Jones,Lina Perry to name afew, it was circulated throughout the US, Canada and Europe there are about 5 issues of this title.
In 1999 "Oblivious Nation" erected along with her bandmate/lover and partner in crime Cap'n Oblivious with the flipside being the Distillery. Oblivious Nation was then published periodically until March 2005 which has now been published monthly and occasionally bi-monthly.
Miss Oblivious also contributes to "PunkGlobe .com".....
Miss Oblivious also had a messy punk rock band "NAG" for five years influenced by Diesel Queens(xoxoVelvy),The Germs and Wendy O...Check out an old "probe" for details on that....
