The idea of Obsidia was born in the year 2004 by Sir Iwain and Lucrezia. After a long time of searching band-members the line-up was (almost) completed in March 2008. As the bandname is telling - the music is inspired by the mineral Obsidian - a black stone similar to glass. The sound shall merge darkness of the Obsidian with the elemental force of earth.
