Formed in roughly 2000, Obsidian has been up and down and all around. We have played shows from Arizona up to the Bay Area of California, some good, some bad, but we played them all none the less. We have had our fare share of bad luck with the band, line up changes, long distance problems, and the likes, so we now have decided to just keep the band going as an online only band. What does this mean? Well we will be focusing on making music and releasing it to you, the fans, as downloads. This does'nt mean that we will not be playing shows, it just means that we are going to play shows when we feel we desire to.
The demo we recorded, "Enslaved By Nightmares" is here on our page for you to download for free(plus a rough mix, demo version, of our song, "Written in Blood", with out vocals). We will be releasing new material very soon and you long time fans can finally have the long awaited Obsidian album that you have been waiting for, "An Apocalyptic Prologue", plus new material in the near future.
We have decided that this is going to be a side project since we are now in other bands, so we will only play shows occassionally, when we feel it is to our benefit, and trust us, we will let you know when, and if we do play shows! Remember, this is an online band now that we are doing, so when you do get a chance to see us play, whenever we decide to, it will be an experience that ony we can give .
