Obsidian Sky is a four-piece progressive metalcore band from Atlanta, Georgia. With an aggressive sound that could be related to bands like Pantera, Kill Switch Engage, As I Lay Dying, and All That Remains, Obsidian Sky has been a driving force on the regional music scene since their inception in 2010. Obsidian Sky's sound features hard-hitting yet melodic songs, and they bring a strong stage presence that enhances their signature style. Frontman and stringsman Khalifa Al-boinen delivers the bands message with his blend of powerful vocals and extremely charismatic attitude. Drummer Mo Al-boinen provides the driving force with his unique groovy yet precise playing style. Tim Grindle is the lead guitarist, but off-stage he stands out as the quartet's outspoken funny man.
