OBTRUSIVE formed back in late 2003 and after a few minor adjustments, have the line-up spot on: Marc (Drums / Vocals), Stepke (Bass / Backvocals), Harry (Guitar / Backvocals) und Igel (Guitar / Vocals)
Their furious, yet melodic, mix of driving street-punk, agressive old school hardcore and explosive chaos-punk could be described as ‘a fist to the face’ and, in terms of sound, can be compared to the likes of Casualties, Kill Your Idols, Miozän and the early Unseen. Their enthousiasm and energy, combined with a knack for songwriting, secures the four punx from Ravensburg a place up their with the best of them.
Through Mat (TSOR Records) the band soon found not only a great label, but a great friend to boot, and with this support released the split album “Kill The Silence”; a collaboration with leading californian street-punk band MONSTER SQUAD. OBTRUSIVE went on to play a mini-tour with the KRUM BUMS as well as numerous one-off gigs, before going on to sucessfully touring Europe with MONSTER SQUAD in May 2007.
In 2008 the 4 chaospunx of OBTRUSIVE finally recorded their enormous live power and electrifying hardcore punk on CD and signed on Concrete Jungle Records and Maniac Attack Records (which is now run by Mat T.S.O.R, Eve and Danny). Now they are presenting their long expected debut album... and this is one hell of an album! The band has created 13 rough and harsh songs on their debut „Cross The Line“ that can hardly be compared to any band in Germany. You clearly hear the huge development they have done in comparison to their previous Split-CD.
At the end of the year the boys will go on a 2 week European Tour. Be there and be part of their powerful live show.
