Obvian is currently playing some quiet gigs in Melbourne with his electric guitar in tow, and for some reason keeps singing awkward songs about girls and time travel. Obvian is currently a one man project, with Nathan Davis providing vocals, guitar noises and Dad jokes. Nathan Davis, the man who claims about 10% of the time to be Obvian, also works as a freelance illustrator and pencil hamster.

Sounds Like
Obvian sounds like that feeling you get when you ask a girl you've liked for ages what she's doing tomorrow, you know, if she's not working for anything, and it's not like this means anything will happen at all, you really just would like to spend some time, get to know her, that sort of stuff and maybe throw in a bad joke or two to ease the tension, only to realise that someone wrote a rude word on your forehead while you were asleep. The best genre name that could be thought up was "Apologetic Indie".

Obvian made the Eronauts EP, and promised a swift destruction to all who stood in his way.You can now by it at iTunes, or at an Obvian show.

Obvian is a one manchild band, born out of some grasp for sanity amongst part time jobs and university. This clearly has not worked.
