The beginnings of Clockwork Illusion were around May of 2007 when Chen Xi and Matt decided to collaborate on an epic progressive project. A year later the band now consists of Matt and Chen Xi on guitars, Mary on vocals, Christian the synthmaster, and Jeremy on the drum throne. This will be pure melodic metal in Provo.
