En español:Hará ya mas de 2 años,cuando Nekane y Lulo,tras su ruptura con su anterior banda(Darkwolf) deciden comenzar un proyecto más enfocado a la estética y música que en su anterior formación no acababan de encontrar.Es por ello que, tras colocar varios anuncios en la red de Internet y tras pasar una serie de meses, contactan con Perry...y comienzan la andadura del nuevo grupo... El primer contacto entre los 3 fue muy bueno y por este hecho y por muchos más como:el gusto musical y la conexión entre los componentes, surgieron las primeras ideas y ensayos en los locales de MDN, de los cuales se guardan muy buenos recuerdos y palabras más que de agradecimiento para sus dueños (Rosa y Santi). A partir de ese momento, surge el nombre de Occitania, como opción para nombrar a la banda. Dada la pasión y la dedicación que tienen por la época medieval Lulo y Nekane. Por este motivo y por ser además una zona del sur de Francia a la que nosotros, desde aqui en Aragón,tenemos a la que agradecer mucho y de alguna manera sentir hermana o al menos dar esa pequeña reseña u homenaje, se decide dejar Occitania como nombre definitivo. Tras los primeros ensayos,composiciones y demás...surge el problema de completar del todo la formación. En un principio se abrió la posibilidad de componer el grupo con teclista,ya que Nekane anteriormente tanto por gusto por el instrumento, como por ser antiguamente, teclista de su ex-banda, propone buscar uno/a. Además, claro está, de un bajo y de otra guitarra. Tras varios meses de contestación alguna en anuncios colocados por todas partes y en academias de música, coincide que tanto Javier Borruel (bajista) y Latas (guitarra) contactan con los anteriormente citados de diferente manera. Javier mediante uno de los miles de anuncios que estaban en la red desde hacía meses.Y en el caso de Latas,realmente...Perry es que le propone entrar a formar parte del grupo,ya que éstos se conocían de su anterior grupo(Orodreth)en el que estuvieron durante varios años tocando.Aparte de esto, ya les unía una larga amistad de muchos años atrás. En el caso del teclado no se conocen respuestas y por ello Occitania comienzan siendo 5 componentes:2 guitarras, bajo, batería y voz. Tras ver que la conexión entre los 5 es buena.Comienzan los ensayos entre los 5 componentes y...en el Roscón Rock del 2008 tocan por primera vez, despues de un par de semanas juntos...alguna versión y tema propio como primera toma de contacto.(No será hasta la semifinal de Popyrock 08 cuando hagan su primer concierto oficial). Un poco más tarde, en abril del 08,deciden buscar un local un poco más grande, para tener mas comodidad y en el que puedan dedicar más tiempo a los nuevos temas que se empiezan a crear.Por este motivo unas 3 semanas antes del Popyrock comenzaron en el local de ensayo a tocar mas a fondo los temas que finalmente se escucharon en la semifinal citada anteriormente. Tras la participación en el Popyrock y la satisfacción que supuso tal acontecimiento y con algun concierto a la vista,Javier, a su vez, decide abandonar el grupo por motivos personales. Despúes de la marcha del bajista se reinicia la dinámica de composición y ensayo junto con la búsqueda de un nuevo integrante que cubra la baja de Javier.Durante meses se componen varios temas y se realizan varios conciertos sin bajista, ya que la baja no se llega a cubrir.Tanto en el festival Mallén con M de Metal como en el Festival solidario de dic.08. A su vez durante estos meses de trabajo se realiza la grabación de los primeros 12 temas del grupo,del cual se extraen 4 para ofrecer al público del pasado concierto en la sala Ozono del dia 21 de marzo,junto al grupo Tenebra. Hola a todos, nos complace informaros que el próximo sábado estaremos actuando en la sala Rocksound junto a nuestros amigos Hardreams.
IMPORTANTE:
1.- No se conoce el orden de actuación. El que vaya pensando que primero actuará uno u otro lo lleva claro. Hemos decidido lanzar una moneda al aire justo antes de empezar, para decidir quien comienza y quien acaba. Esto significa que ni nosotros mismos sabemos cuando actuaremos. 2.- Os rogamos puntualidad . Los horarios están definidos y debemos respetarlos. Se comenzará a la hora estipulada sin ningún tipo de demora. Nuestro objetivo es que estéis todos allí a la hora señalada con ganas de pasarlo bien. 3.- No debe faltar nadie!!! Ambas bandas vamos con ganas de darlo todo, así que el sábado esperamos ofrecer una gran noche de hard rock!!!
