Ocean Audio Studios based at Tregoniggie Industrial Estate in Falmouth was founded by Chris Morris former lead guitarist with Paper Lace in 1997, Their most memorable hit and number one was Billy Don't Be a hero, which was number one for 8 weeks in the Uk, this was followed by The Night Chicago Died which reached number one in America selling two million copies the song also reached a respectable number 3 in the Uk. After leaving Paper Lace Chris recorded a solo album, Frozen Dreams on ice which reached number one on the very lucrative Japaneese Charts.
While in Paper Lace Chris performed at the Royal Variety Performance in front of the late Queen Mother on the 18th of November 1974.
As well as being an accomplished songwriter Chris's approach to recording is refreshing and innotive, Chris has recently completed an album with local Soul legends Heart and Soul, an eight piece band here in the south West. Other people he has written and produced for are No Premonition, and Siren.
We also work alongside Gary Williams a very well respected producer here in the South West who has worked with many mainstream artists.
