About me:
Welcome to Oceanfront Productions Recording Studio. We have been in business since 1997 providing Quality Digital Recording and Production Services. We offer Screen-Plays for Movie Production and Poetry as well as create Jingles for your Business. We also have an In-House Publishing Company known as Brown Mack Music (ASCAP). We are also a member of the Motown Alumni Associaion. For all the independent artists out there, we can create your "music" and your "beats." Together, my partner Ralph and I have over 50 years experience in the music business and we will make sure that your experience with Oceanfront Productions is a pleasant one. In some cases, we can even arrange for you to get Air-Play on the Local Radio Stations. We are readily available to assist you with your musical endeavors. Anthony McKnight's musical career began when he was just a young boy, living in Charleston ,S.C. Both of his parents sang and had a musical family background and started various Gospel groups in the Charleston area. They formed a family gospel group appropriately named---The McKnight Brothers. Ant is the youngest son of Felix and Everlina McKnight. Anthony's father formed a local Gospel group named The Southern Gates. Ant is the 1st Cousin of James Jamerson , Motown's Legendary Bassist and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee. James and Ant were raised in South Carolina and spent a lot of quality time together while growing up. For the past 11 years Ant has been trying to get his Cousin Jamerson inducted into the South Carolina Hall of Fame. Recentley on 3/05/2009 The SC House of Representatives pass a Resolution to Honor Mr. Jamerson's career.
Ant has been inducted into The International Whos Who of Entrepreneurs (2000 Class) and currently serves as the Executive Director for the Motown Alumni Association of South Carolina. He’s currently working on a James Jamerson Tribute CD and a Gospel Project for his wife, Mary.
