Since 2005, Ocean Ghosts (E-duo from O-hio) has created 4 full-length musical recordings, performed an evolving live concert experience over 120 times, and played with big-time superstars like GirlTalk, DJ Swamp, Crystal Castles, Ordinary Peoples, God, and a plethora of great bands from Columbus, Ohio.
Composed of two American-Americans, Ocean Ghosts combine the vocal styles of Hall and Oates meets Bell Biv Devoe, the satirical-lyrical wit of Frank Zappa, the irreverence of Ween, the socio-political commentary of George Clinton, the psychedelic confidence of the Flaming Lips, and the sampling technique of early West Coast rappers like DJ Quik, Ice Cube, and King Tee.
